Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Runi does not sell your personal information, and Runi does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have never done either, and we have no plans to.
Because we don’t engage in these practices, there is nothing for you to opt out of. The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) still require us to make this statement plainly available, which is what this page is for.
What this means in practice
- We do not exchange your data with data brokers, advertisers, or analytics networks in return for money or anything of value.
- We do not allow third parties to use your data to build advertising or marketing profiles about you.
- Health data read from Apple HealthKit is never sold, never shared with data brokers, and never used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full HealthKit disclosure.
- The only third-party processor that receives your personalized health context is Anthropic (our AI provider), and that data is used solely to generate your protocols and chat responses. It is not used to train their models.
Your CCPA/CPRA rights
California residents (and users in other states with similar laws) have the following rights regarding their personal information:
- Right to know: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to delete: request that we delete your personal information.
- Right to correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: not applicable to Runi — we don’t sell or share personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not penalize you for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
The fastest way to exercise your rights is directly inside the Runi app:
- Open Settings → Your Data in the app.
- Tap Export My Data to receive a download link by email containing all your Runi data in a portable format.
- Tap Delete My Account to schedule permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. You have a 7-day grace period to cancel before deletion is final.

Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent to provide written authorization from you and to verify their own identity before acting on the request.
